About Montana Bridge Company

About Montana Bridge Company

Montana Bridge Company is a boutique, founder-led firm specializing in the design, engineering, and construction of custom timber bridges across the United States.

We serve residential developments, commercial centers, golf courses, campuses, and public spaces—delivering structures that are both functional and enduring. Each bridge is thoughtfully designed to fit its environment and built to stand the test of time.

With over 70 years of combined experience and a legacy of more than 8,000 bridges across four continents, our team brings heritage-level craftsmanship together with modern engineering precision.

Led by industry pioneer James York and an experienced team of designers, engineers, and builders, we provide a deeply personalized, end-to-end approach—from concept and permitting to construction and long-term maintenance.
